OpenCloud Antivirus

According to S!Ri (and thanks for the sample):
OpenCloud Antivirus is a fake Antivirus. It is a clone of BlueFlare Antivirus, Milestone Antivirus, Wireshark Antivirus, Sysinternals Antivirus, XJR Antivirus, AKM Antivirus 2010 Pro, Your PC Protector.

OpenCloud Antivirus prevents legit softwares execution, displays fake alerts and blocks random Web pages.

If you need to clean your computer and OpenCloud Antivirus is blocking legit cleaners execution, enter the following serial to register: DB038748-B4659586-4A1071AF-32E768CD-36005B1B-F4520642-3000BF2A-04FC910B|6.8|1036&hwid=9DF6DS54GF6SDF4GFD465H&n=5fq85eqfgsd4DSF5SDF5fz4rfds45f5FDQS

The ID '6188' can be found also on 'wf.conf'
This is probably used to identify a partner.

If your PC is infected with OpenCloud Antivirus, follow Bleeping Computer's removal guide.

  1. Greetings,

This OpenCloud program appeared in my computer on Sunday, Oct 2. It would not let me do anything and I couldn't get my system to remove it. The program insisted my email was compromised and sending malicious mails. The only way I could stop it was to pay ... I paid 72.85 just to get this crap to stop all the notices it kept poping up on my screen. It is still there and causing me a lot of problems. I doubt if I can get my money back ... but I would like to try. Being on a small Social Security income, this was devestating to me. Also, how do I get it off my machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW ...AV Security CS gave me your web address.
